Remove Water Source Blocks in Minecraft: Minecraft can be described as a sandbox survival game where players can construct bases and homes to live in.
You can construct your home or base virtually everywhere you want in the Overworld—Desert, Jungle, Taiga, Swamp, etc.
You can construct it in any Biomes, even water bodies such as Lakes, Rivers, and Oceans.
How do you clear all the Water Blocks? How can you remove the water in those water bodies within Minecraft?
So, I wrote this guide to help solve these issues.
Remove Water Source Blocks in Minecraft
Before we eliminate the water in an ocean or lake in Minecraft, the first step requires specific materials.
The items we’ll need include gravity-affected blocks and spoons. Blocks that affect by gravity conform to the laws of gravity.
I highly recommend acquiring the stack of Sand or Gravel. Sand is preferred as you might need to purchase additional Gravel due to the possibility of being Flint.
The first thing you need to do is to the section of the water area that you wish to clear in Minecraft.
This can accomplish by first constructing an area made of blocks that are gravity-based around the region.
Then, you can begin to section the wall into sections, each one four blocks long. You can now take the Sponge and start placing them into each area.

On the interior sides of sections, put a sponge to one end, then another, and return to the opposite side.
Repeat this process until all of the water is gone. This is the way to remove the water from Minecraft.
After removing all the water from this section in Minecraft, you will have to dry the Sponges because you might only have a certain amount.
They can be dried in the furnace. However, it is lengthy. Therefore, the most efficient method of drying Sponges is to go into the Nether.
Once you’re in the Nether, put your wet Sponge on the ground, and it will immediately dry out.
Keep going, and you’ll rid of the water blocks in Minecraft. It recommend to use a torch to take out the gravity blocks to make the process faster.
