Franchises like SSX and 1080 Snowboardingpopularized hillside shredding and, while they never quite saw the same widespread acclaim, snowboarding games stood their own against their skateboarding counterparts.
Foam Punch’sPunch’s Shredders wants to bring back snowboarding, as skateboarding is gaining popularity.
Shriners was revealed as an Xbox Game Pass exclusive in June last year. It initially suppose to launch in December.
The game’s release date delayed to February 2022 instead of the December launch. A recent leak from Microsoft’sMicrosoft’s official marketplace suggests the release date of Shredders has been postponed once more, with no set date.
An update first revealed this leak to Shredders’Shredders’ official page on UK Microsoft Store. It presented players with the option to sign up for Xbox Game Pass and listed a release date for Shredders.

Shredders expected to arrive at Xbox Game Pass on March 17. This is a few weeks after their previous estimate of a February 2022 launch. Foam Punch has not yet made an official announcement, but they will likely announce the new release date soon.
Shredders is another example of a sport with a long history in gaming that is experiencing a revival in recent years.
Last year, the Carve Snowboarding created by Giles Goddard 1080 Snowboardingcreator added a new perspective to mountain-side shredding and brought it into VR.
Goddard also expressed his desire for the iconic snowboarding franchise to return to Nintendo Switch consoles.
Although snowboarding games are rare in today’s games industry, they are still trendy. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild uses snowboarding as a gameplay mechanic.
The shield-surfing technique also feature in Breath of The Wild. SSX hasn’t had a new title for a while, and many of the most popular snowboarding franchises in gaming have been dormant even longer.
Shredders will offer gamers a fresh approach to the classic sport.
