Zack Snyder reveals a new Batman film: Director Zack Snyder shared the Rebel Moon movie’s first look. The first piece of the concept artwork he revealed for his Star Wars-like sci-fi film for Netflix – his next movie after the Army of the Dead.
Snyder also reaffirmed fans’ calls to Warner Bros to “restore” the Snyderverse of his DC Comics movies.
He posted a new Ben Affleck Batman picture — showing an alternative view to the first Zack Snyder image.

The first look at Rebel Moon and a Batman pic.
Zack Snyder today shared the official look at his sci-fi movie, Rebel Moon on Vero. It shows a group of dark-clad, skull-faced troopers marching through some ruins.
They are probably part of the army led by Regent Belisarius, the movie’s main antagonist. Snyder says that filming is in full swing, and they will be shooting principal photography within a few months.
There is not much information available about Rebel Moon at the moment. It will feature Sofia Boutella, The Mummy, Atomic Blonde and is based upon Snyder’s love for Star Wars and Akira Kurosawa.
Disney rejected the pitch for a Star Wars movie with more mature characters. It is expected to launch in 2023.
Snyder posted a new image of Ben Affleck’s Batman, based on his first image for Batman: standing in front of the Batmobile.
Snyder posted a photo of the Batmobile standing in front of the northern lights a few days ago.
Fans immediately saw this as another tease for Justice League 2. (To be fair, Snyder had been doing a lot lately, so that may be true). Rebel Moon will start filming in 2022.
