When the online service was shut down, Halo players were able to relax and reflect on their nostalgia-filled memories of games played in the past as well as their friends and rivals.

Then, one Halofan posted a touching message that they received from a friend, conveying the mood of the final time in the lives of the Halo fans.

Halo 3 launch to great acclaim in the latter part of 2007. It develops by Microsoft Game Studios, the final installment of the original trilogy, developed by Bungie.

The campaign mode was played with three other players using Xbox Live.

The game also had modes such as ‘ capture the flag and capture the flag,’. Which could play with up to sixteen players.

This was how excited people were for Halo 3; Bill Gates famously signed and sold the first physical copy of the game in the Best Buy store in Washington.

Later, the game is among the best games ever play by critics and fans alike.

In a post to the community /r/halo/ on Reddit, user TheYoungCalves posted an email message. To their father, who was playing using the game’s nametag Golden Ox.

The message came from an opponent from Halo 3 after the game’s servers went down. The player then apologized for “any issues” they’d had with them and expressed gratitude to the player for being their final opponent within the games.

Golden Ox played the Xbox 360 version of Halo 3 for 14 years.

In December, 323 Industries announced that they would shut down old Xbox 360 servers for older Halo games, bringing an end to 14 years of fully online service in the Halo game.

It was sensible, considering that the initial Xbox 360 released 17 years ago. And the latest version was nearly ten years older.

Although players can still enjoy the online experience in Halo The Master Chief Collection, the initial online experience has become gone.
