A player in Destiny 2 begins a Nuzlocke run: While Destiny 2 intends to be an action-packed looter game with extensive and unique lore. But it’s usually an event that the players desire something more from the game. Whether it’s the added difficulty or playing using an entirely different set of rules.

For instance, it’s common to see the Destiny 2 players making bets as they complete games. Which results in losers needing to remove some of the god roll weapons.

A few endgame tasks build on artificial difficulty, which isn’t inherent.

However, it intends to create layers of complexity, such as the other Champions in the master Vault of Glass.

So, in the search for a brutal test, one player in the Destiny 2player decided to launch a Nuzlocke challenge to test their abilities and eventually reach their aim of completing the Grandmaster Nightfall.

The participant posted a message on Reddit under the name Rete12123. In which they explained the rules for their Nuzlocke challenge.

The game can end with an irrevocable oath. If the character dies at any time in time, regardless of the reason.

This may seem unforgiving to certain players, especially considering how death and rebirth have become the basis of Destiny 2‘s story due to the Traveler’s Light as well as the ghosts.

However, the concept comes from the well-known Nuzlocke challenge in Pokemon games.

the one after which the game is named in this instance and also enforces the restriction of only using guns. And other gear that you have acquired during the game, and these removed at the time of the player’s death.

It’s like the game concept in Pokemon games in which players give a certain number of Pokemon encounters that they can take, and each Pokemon that lost during battle bring as dead and not played in the future.

In the current debate about Pokémongames becoming too simple to play, it shouldn’t seem like a shock that some players would prefer to challenge before them.

In this instance, it appears that the same is true in games like Destiny 2.

Yet, Destiny 2remains a challenging game, where players must learn the mechanics of encounters very hard, making the Nuzlocke runs all more difficult.

However, some believe Destiny 2‘s significant modifications to artifact mods and Masterwork equipment included in The Witch Queen could make the game more enjoyable.

However, the weapons crafting mechanics and Hive Guardians will likely declare otherwise.

Destiny 2 is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
