Visual Concepts, a developer, decided to give the WWE 2K next game an extra year after expressing frustration with WWE 2K20. With a March 11 release date less than a month away, players will be able to evaluate that for themselves.

This classic match showcases WWE2K22‘s completely revamped gameplay and physics. The WWE 2K22 design is primarily for pick-up and play.
One senior designer stated that players should be able “just by button mashing” to get through the entire match. Light Attacks and Heavy Attacks are WWE2K22‘s primary attacks.
The gameplay of the match is the main focus. The inputs can be combined into unique moves for wrestlers. There is also a Block/Reversal.
However, this is the first detailed showcase of WWE 2K22.

In the new video, the visuals of the WWE wrestling game are also showcased. WWE 2K20 gamers can see improvements in the game’s visual quality with a particular focus on lighting.
Lighting will bring out the details of WWE’s stars and their various cosmetics.

Despite the additional development time, visual Concepts loves what they have created for WWE2K22.
Remember that two years is a short time frame for developing a new game.
This is in contrast to multi-year traditional development. It is a credit to Visual Concepts that they could accomplish so many things in so little time.
This also means that WWE 2K22 will likely be similar to previous games, but these parts are unlikely to be highlighted in marketing materials.
The WWE has loved and hated many video games over the years. WWE2K20 was a low point in the history of the WWE, but Visual Concepts hopes that WWE2K22 will deliver everything fans desire.
