All God of War games in chronological order: The God of War game is a popular choice and one of the most popular franchises. You play the role of the hero Kratos, who seeks revenge on the Greek gods after the murder of his entire family.
This epic is about a simple mortal who rises to godhood to destroy the Gods of Olympus that wronged his family.
You will need to play all of God of War titles to learn about his past, despair, and bloodlust.

As I mentioned previously, there are two ways to play the entire God of War franchise.
You can play in the release order or according to the Storyline. You won’t lose your place in the game so that you can play them both.
These are the rules for playing the God of War game.
Storyline Order: All Games
Below is the Storyline Order for the God of War Games:

The Story of God of War Games
The story begins in God Of War: Ascension, six months after Kratos kills his family members by Ares.
The Furies then captured him because he had broken his blood oath to Ares. Kratos defeats Ares’ plans by assisting Orkos.
God of War: Ascension can play on the PlayStation3. Next in the series is God of War, Chains of Olympus, which you can play on the PlayStation Portable.
Kratos pledges to serve the Gods Olympus. But, during this time, the world is plunged into darkness.
The God of the Sun, Helios, is also kidnapped. He must stop the evil plans by the goddess Persephone to destroy the world using the Titan Atlas.
God of War I is now available on the PS2. Athena assigns Kratos to find Pandora’s Box to grant him the power to defeat Ares.
Our hero experiences flashbacks to the horrors that he has committed. Finally, he defeats Ares and becomes the new God Of War.
After that, God of War – Ghost of Sparta is available to play on the PlayStation Portable.
He still haunted by the horrors from his human past and embarks on a quest to find his true origins.
He discovers that his brother and mother are still alive while on the road. Thanatos, God of Death, takes his brother Deimos hostage and sends him to freedom.
His brother kills in battle, and he returns to Olympus, furious at the Gods.
God Of War: Betrayal is the next installment. This is the only game of the series that has made for Mobiles.
Our hero is framed for murder and sent to roam the Greek lands. But, instead, he gives in to his bloodlust and murders Ceryx, son of Hermes.
He is further separated from the other Gods on Olympus by this. The next part of this story is God of War II: Divine Retribution played on PlayStation2.
After being furious at the Gods, Kratos sets fire to the City in Rhodes, after which Zeus betrays them. Titan Gaia saves him.
After that, he betrays Zeus and goes to meet the sisters. However, he discovers that he is Zeus’s son, and his father betrayed them out of fear.
Kratos joins with the Titans to attack Mount Olympus.
God of War III is a game that can play on the PlayStation3.
All God of War games in chronological order
It takes place right after Kratos allies with the Titans. The Titans use Kratos to reach Zeus and rekindle the Great War.
In a rage, Kratos seeks revenge on both the Titans and Gods. Spirit of Athena assists Kratos and tells him to obtain the Flaming to defeat Zeus.
In a series of battles, he engages all the Titans and Gods to defeat Zeus. The Flame contained Pandora’s Box, which gave Kratos his power.
To release the power he received, he refuses to assist Athena and commits suicide.
God of War is a game that can play on the PlayStation4. Kratos finds himself in the world of Norse mythology.
His second wife, Faye, dies. Her final wish is to have her ashes released at the highest point of all the Nine Realms.
His son Atreus and he embark on the journey to fulfill his wife’s wish. Unfortunately, they are attacked by Baldur, the son of Odin, along the way.
Odin does this to stop Ragnarok from happening. Kratos succeeds in killing Baldur.
He then reaches the highest Peak of a Mountain in Jotunheim. The game is now in a new direction and will continue with the God of War Ragnarok.
