Epic’s Wrestling Battle Royale Rumbleverse has been postponed: In December 2021, Iron Galaxy hosted closed testing of its new Battle Royale based on wrestling Rumbleverse. The test didn’t cause significant disruption on the internet.
However, it drew attention for a private test that brought attention to a game that few had ever heard of. Battle royale players are aware that the game needs more than a bit of enthusiasm at the beginning to be successful.
Iron Galaxy appears to agree since the publisher Epic Games has now confirmed that Rumbleverse delayed for a while.
To be precise, Rumbleverse‘s indefinite delay seems to attempt to position it for a more successful launch, not stopping this Battle Royale.
It initially planned to launch on February 15, which was not only at the end of a busy month, but also one that is doing Rumbleverse not much favours given the absence of hype and marketing thus far.
Iron Galaxy also says that it would like to “perfect the experience” before it launches.
Rumbleverse will not disappearing for a while, even though it hasn’t got any new release dates yet. Epic Games and Iron Galaxy are planning additional tests for Rumbleverse to come.
Epic’s Wrestling Battle Royale Rumbleverse has been postponed indefinitely
The first test will begin on February 12 and is unfortunately only available to PC for the time being. It designed to assist Iron Galaxy test out its new technology. And will accessible for two hours between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm Central Time.
Iron Galaxy says this is only the initial test that will lead towards the launch date. Which expected to happen shortly.
Iron Galaxy also addresses one additional issue that addressed when it announced. It was previously a way for excited Rumbleverse players to purchase the Early Access Pack of DLC that provided an entire Week of Early Access.
Because Rumbleverse has delayed from launch on February 15 and there is no official release date set. Epic Games will be refunding anyone who purchased one of the Early Access Pack. It will repurchase when Rumbleverse launce d on a new date.
While this might be an inconvenient and even a concerning choice regarding Rumbleverse, the team working on the game is genuinely impressed by their Initial Look Test responses at the beginning of December.
This extra time will enable Iron Galaxy to create the complete experience it hopes to provide through Rumbleverse.
At the very minimum, it allows Rumbleverse to get away in February early and would have been shortly. After the release of Pokemon Legends Arceus and Dying Light 2 and just before Horizon Forbidden West. Destiny 2‘s The Witch Queen expansion, and Elden Ring.
Escape from February offers Rumbleversethe chance it’ll require.
Rumbleverse is currently developing on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
