Best Retraced Path God Rolls in Destiny 2: It’s finally here! We’ve got our first ever legendary trace rifle within Destiny 2, and it’s well not that great.
Retraced Path is an adaptation of Halo’s Focus Rifle from Halo, and that’s the only feature it has to offer it.
It’s not an appropriate place in the meta of both PvP and PvE, which is unfortunate.
If you’re looking to find a brand new tool you can use in Trials or Grandmasters, This isn’t the weapon for you.
Suppose you’re trying to have fun, but you’re in for a great time. The gun is fun to play in regular PvE games, which is the reason I’ve decided that I’ll go over some god rolls for the Retraced Path within Destiny 2.

How to Get the Retraced Path in Destiny 2
Retraced Path is among the brand new 30th Anniversary weapons, which means it’s available in the same way as the other weapon (not the ones from the past that are only available to The GoA).
You can obtain the Retraced Path through participating in the Dares of Eternity and from the chest of Xur by using Treasure Keys.
There’s no way of knowing for sure that you’ll receive the Retraced Path over other weapons. However, it shouldn’t be a problem to find one or two.
Retraced Path God Rolls in Destiny 2
Retraced Path PvE God Roll
- Arrowhead Brake.
- Enhanced Battery.
- Genesis.
- Frenzy.
Despite being built to combat PvE, the Retraced Path lacks in the way of standard PvE-specific perks.
The only damage buff we can access is Frenzy which I’m utilizing by this awesome roll.
Frenzy is synergistic with Genesis in a deceivingly effective way. When you smash an enemy shield, Genesis will replenish your mag, and Frenzy will give you a damage boost if you are still fighting.
The more ammunition you can fire, the more you can fight, which means you will get more use from Frenzy.
It’s not the kind of combination you’d like to incorporate into something resembling a Grandmaster, but it works very well in both regular or Legendary content.
Your barrel’s perk doesn’t matter too much regarding benefits one and two. I’m aiming for better handling.
However, you can use any item you like. It’s the same applies to the ammo perk. I prefer Enhanced Battery for its synergy with Genesis However;, it’s by no means mandatory.
Retraced Path is distinctly non-meta. So please don’t be concerned about the prospect of obtaining a god-roll it for too long.
Find a combination of perks that you enjoy, and then call it a day. Unfortunately, there’s no way to min/max this rifle to get content for the endgame.

- Arrowhead Brake.
- Enhanced Battery.
- Perpetual Motion.
- Golden Tricorn.
It will take a more courageous man than I to take Retraced Path to the Crucible. If you’re a masochist, then good for you.
It’s unlikely to see any success using such a weapon when it comes to PvP, but If you’re keen to test this roll, this is the one I would recommend.
I could not create a PvP Retraced Path because the perk pool is skinny.
The majority of the decent choices require multiple kills to ensure buffs are active, something I’d like to avoid in the player-versus-player.
Instead, I’m focused on maximizing uptime, hence including Perpetual Motion.
Perpetual Motion is among the most exciting perks of the 30th-anniversary update.
It grants you Stability, Handling, and Reload Speed boosts while you’re moving.
It takes about nine seconds to reach a maximum stack of Perpetual Motion that’s not as much as you’d imagine.
It is recommended to perform PvP battles as a general rule, So you’ll be active most of the time, without realizing it.
Golden Tricorn, on the contrary, is a kill requirement to activate.
In contrast to One For All, Golden Tricorn is a single-kill card that requires just one kill to activate.
After that kill, you’ll be rewarded with a buff to damage. The buff gets boosted when you have the solar melee or grenade kill, making it a good option for content in PvP.
It’s a niche and a situational role. However, it’s the most effective you’re likely to find for PvP.
