How do I stream Netflix via Discord?
- Go to your web browser and sign in to the Netflix account. Next, choose the program or movie you’d like to stream. This could take me longer than following any of the steps. Eliminate your Netflix Tab.
- Open the Discord application and select the settings.
- Navigate through the menu and choose Activity Status.
- Click to add it, and you will see the running apps running in the background.
- Next, select the browser on which you’re about to host a stream party.
- Then, select the server and the channel you’d like to host your watch party.
- Next, click on the stream icon, and you’ll be asked to enter the screen-share dialogue box.
- Hit Go Live to stream Netflix on Discord.
Be sure to remove the Hardware Acceleration settings in the browser you’re using.
The result will be the same black screen when you take a screen on Netflix if you don’t alter the settings.
This setting is available in a variety of browsers:
- Google Chrome: Settings > Advanced > System.
- Firefox Options Page General.
- Microsoft Edge: Settings > System.
However, the hardware acceleration settings cannot be turned off in Safari. Therefore, if you attempt streaming Netflix on Mac devices, you’ll encounter a black screen.
Keep your Discord app up to date so that you do not experience any black screen issues.
