Snow Day Challenge in Clash of Clans COC: The Christmas Season is upon us, and Christmas is just short. As always, Clash of Clans has embraced the holiday spirit by releasing this year’s Clashmas update.
In conjunction with Clashmas, it is also an event that everyone can participate in and earn rewards for free.
The event is called The Snow Day Challenge. It’s a one-time event, and the rewards are pretty impressive.

In this guide, I’ll guide you on how to beat Clash of Clans’ Snow Day Challenge in Clash of Clans (COC).
The Snow Day Challenge in Clash of Clans COC is a one-time event that awards winners 400 EXP and the ability to rake Obstacles.
The Challenge’s Base is vast and expansive that covers the entire area. Due to its size, it is filled with open spaces dotted with Freeze traps.
This is a simple task as you can get decent troops to attack. However, the barbarian King Archer Queen and the Grand Warden are all at level 10, and you’ll get two Freeze Spells as well as 2 Santa Spells.
With these Heroes, We must take on a Town Hall 11, but we receive the King of Level 10, a Queen Champion. To defeat the Challenge, The game has provided us with:
- Barbarians 30x
- Archers 20×20
- Giants 2
- Goblins 10x
- Wall Breakers x2
- Hog Riders x2
- Witches 2
- Bowlers 2
- level 10 of Barbarian King
- Archer Queen Level 10
- Grand Warden Level 10
- Royal Champion Level 10
- Santa Spells x2
- Freeze Spells x2

Strategies to beat the Challenge
- 1. Santa’s Surprise
In the easternmost part of the Snow Day Challenge Base, there is a pocket with the Wizard Tower and Mortar.
You can drop each of these Santa Spells that you have between them. The Wizard Tower will damage to around half its health, and Mortar will likely have taken lots of damage.
Then to towards the East, you will see a group of trees. Within the Trees, there is the Hidden Tesla. Drop the Giant and the Barbarian to remove it.
After clearing that Hidden Tesla, they will be able to move toward the BAse.
- Step 2: Hog Funnel
Then, a little south towards the Wizard Tower and Mortar, there will be two Archer Towers outside of the Base and the Inferno Tower within the Base.
Be careful to put some barbarians onto both Archer Towers and place a few archers on top of them. Utilize as few Barbarians & Archers as possible, but get rid of both Archer Towers and use the 9 Barbarians & six Archers to do this.
After all Archer Towers are in place, place a Giant to be locked to it the Inferno Tower.
When Inferno is distracted, Inferno gets distracted places the two Hog Riders to the Inferno Tower.
The Giant you used to create your Hidden Tesla will now tank shots in the Wizard Tower.
Set up a couple of Archers to destroy the Wizard Tower. That entire Pocket and perhaps a few additional defenses will destroy if you’ve done it right.
Snow Day Challenge in Clash of Clans COC:
- Step 3. The Royal Champion Deployment
There are two Archer Towers in the opposite positions to the one you took out.
Repeat the process to remove these using Barbarians & Archers. Don’t exhaust all those Barbarians & Archers.
Head towards Southern section of the Base and activate Royal Champion and the grand Warden in front of her.
The champion must focus on the Archer Tower first. Then, the Inferno Tower is just next to the Wizard Tower and some Resource Buildings on the Southern side.
Set up some Goblins to these Resource Buildings next to the Inferno Tower. When you see the Royal Champion is making her way towards Inferno Tower, place some Barbarians on the Resource Buildings.
Inferno Tower put up and stagger some barbarians to deter from the Inferno Tower. The Clan Castle Troops will be released when you watch the Royal Champion moves ahead.
Utilize Freeze Spell on them so that the Royal Champion can take them out. After the Troops are taken out, the Royal Champion will target a Mortar and activate a Hidden Tesla. Starts her ability at the moment.

- 4. Let Go The Cavalry
At an angle on the Northern part on the bottom of the Base, lay down Goblins to trigger the Freeze Traps at the entry points to this Base.
Next, put up a Barbarian and a Wall Breaker close behind him, creating an opening on the top in the Base.
At the back, set up the two Witches to give birth to Skeletons and drop some Barbarians to disorient as well as your Barbarian King in the opening in the Base, an archer queen to follow him, Archer Queen who will follow him, and a bowler to eliminate the buildings within the area.
You can activate the Warden’s ability to ensure that your Royal Champion is alive. If it is done correctly, All of your Heroes will meet at the highest point in the Base.
- Phase 5: Clean Up Time
On the Western part of the Base is a Wizard Tower. Put the Barbarian to keep it from being a distraction, and drop your final Bowler onto it.
You’ve got a Freeze Spell on reserve, and you can use it whenever you think the Royal Champion will need it.
As of now, every one of the base defenses should destroye, and your troops are cleaning the area.
Your remaining Troops should be taken off the map and enable Your Heroes Abilities to help speed up the clearing process.
When the Troops have cleared the Base, you’ll complete this Challenge—Snow Day Challenge in Clash of Clans.
The primary strategy used in this Challenge is to use Funneling.
It is a typical tactic use in COC and is doing it during this Challenge.
