To use a Spell or an Incantation, you will need to learn about them first! There must be a Memory Slot for you to learn them; as soon as you start a game in Elden Ring, you will have a limited number of Memory Slots to work with.
One of the Key Items is a Memory Stone. It will make your Memory Slots bigger by one. Having more means you will get more Memory Slots, and you will be able to use more Spells and Incantations. If you want to use a Memory Stone, you don’t have to do anything extra.
Once you get one, it will keep expanding your Memory Slots. Memory Stones can be found in total in Elden Ring. There are 8 of them in the game. Each of them is in a different place.
- The Twin Maiden Husks can be bought for 3,000 Runes at the Roundtable Hold.
- When you open a Chest on the top floor of the Converted Tower.
- Following the defeat of the Demi-Human Queen Maggie, near Hermit Village in Mt. Gelmir, as a Drop.
- Lenne’s Rise, Eastern Camelid.
- At the top of Oridys’s rise, in a chest
- Following the defeat of the Red Wolf of Radagon at the Raya Lucaria Academy, this item was found as a drop.
- It came from a Chest on the top floor of Seluvis’s Rise, which is near Liurnia in the Three Sisters sub-region.
- A chest was found on the top floor of Testu’s Rise in Northern Liurnia of the Lakes.
