Psychological thriller Martha is Dead has a release date.
Martha has died it’s alive, with a new trailer at the Golden Joystick Awards and a release date to boot. It is being developed by the Italian studio LKA, which previously brought us The Town of Light; a tense game of exploration with an atmosphere that we just couldn’t get enough of.
And so if that’s something to go through then Martha has died is definitely one to see. It will put players face to face with the impact WWII had on the Italian countryside; mixing the Tuscan landscape of the real world with superstition, folklore, and psychological horror.
Sounds good on our street, if we’re honest. And we won’t have to wait too long to play – it’s scheduled to launch on February 24 next year.
The recently unveiled trailer, which you can watch below, shows how the game uses Unreal Engine 4 and its ‘Metahuman’ technology to create truly realistic characters, particularly in twins Martha and Giulia.
While the game remains a mystery, we personally can’t wait to see how the game tackles the pretty big issues at stake here. It is also an incredibly interesting setting for a suspense title.
So if like us, you are a big fan of the dark side of games, it seems that Martha has died it will be one to look at.
Pre-orders for physical versions of the title are now available here for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles and come with a reversible sleeve, double-sided poster, sticker sheet, and digital download Tarot card pack.
Along with that, a limited edition triple vinyl soundtrack album was also announced, and you may register your interest in that.
Martha has died It will be released on February 24, 2022, for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X / S. Check out that trailer now:
