WWE 2K22 has already had patch updates in March that used to fix many gameplay and performance problems in the game. In the most recent patch update, patch 1.07. Which came out on March 28, there were a lot of specific problems fixed in the game instead of general problems in the game. Patch 1.07 changes several parts of the Create a Superstar game mode. So that it can work better in the game.

People who play WWE 2K22‘s Create a Superstar mode with many original creations with custom portraits will be more stable after the hotfix. People who have talked about the Create a Superstar mode problems in WWE 2K22 say that this hotfix also takes care of those problems.

A problem that caused the game mode to be unstable cause by people adding 35 or more custom image renders to any original superstars.

The hotfix also takes care of concerns that one or more players could make the game unstable because they don’t have any custom portraits in the game. It’s not about the Create a Superstar game mode in WWE 2K22. It takes care of another issue that people have said they have.

Another reason for putting the patch in is to ensure. That people don’t accept an online game invite while WWE 2K22 is in a “suspended state.”
This patch update for WWE 2K22 isn’t as long as other updates for the game. It doesn’t fix more general problems in the game.

The last patch, 1.06 for WWE 2K22, addressed a long list of problems and made needed changes in the game. A new update for the 1.06 patch had a lot of different sections. They call General, Gameplay, Online, and MyFaction.

The General section of WWE 2K22 had the most changes, which made many things better. Improved skin and eye shaders for different superstars, better hair and tattoo updates. And more were some of the changes made.

This section has changed things like superstar AI, ladder dismounts, finisher reversals, superstar interactions with ropes, and more.

The changes made to Online and MyFaction were not as long. But they addressed specific problems with those parts of the game and more when the patch came out at the start of the game.

Sports games have always been one of the most popular games. And WWE has been at the top of the list with other popular games like FIFA and Madden. Since 1987, the WWE has been making games.

The first WWE game, called MicroLeague Wrestling, came out in 1987. Wrestling video games had just as much competition as the companies that made them.

The WWE and WCW both made a lot of video games in the 1980s and 1990s until WCW went out of business in 2001.

WWE 2K22 and WWF WrestleMania were released on the Nintendo Entertainment System in North America and Europe in 1989. An interesting TikTok video shows how the two games have changed over the years. It used two wrestling legends to show how far games have come in the last 33 years.

In the video, the player compares Hulk Hogan and Ted DiBiase. The Hulkster kicked DiBiase to the ground because of the limited moves and mobility in WWF WrestleMania. In WWE 2K22, the player uses Hogan’s iconic Leg Drop finisher before winning the match by pinfall.

WrestleMania only has six Superstars to choose from: Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage are both “Macho Man”. Ted DiBiase and Bam Bam Bigelow are both “Million Dollar Man.”

The Honky Tonk Man is also “Macho Man.” This isn’t very many compared to the huge roster of over 120 Superstars and Legends in WWE 2K22. There will also be five WWE 2K22 DLC Packs in the coming months that will add 28 more Superstars and Legends to the game.

It’s interesting to see games like this compared to each other because it shows how far gaming has come in a short amount of time. In some cases, video games have gone from 8-bit and 16-bit. Mostly 2D games, to fully 3D worlds that are getting close to photorealism.

Over the last 35 years, WWE has licensed more than 60 video games. Most of the games are arcade or simulation-style wrestling games, like the Smackdown vs.

Raw series, WWF No Mercy, and the Mortal Kombat-style In Your House game, but WWE has also had its Superstars appear in a Twisted Metal-style game called Crush Hour, and even a pinball game.

WWE 2K22 is now available on PC through Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. It is also available on Xbox 360.

The game comes with 163 characters in the base game and 168 for the nWo 4-Life Edition. After the game comes out, more wrestlers will add as DLC. It looks like the PlayStation and Xbox stores have let the cat out of the bag about what WWE 2K22 DLC will look like.

The PlayStation and Xbox stores revealed some wrestlers who will add to WWE 2K22 after the game comes out. Yokozuna, LA Knight, Mr. T, Rob Van Dam, Stacy Keibler, and Stace Keibler are all coming to WWE 2K22. 

A picture of the DLC season pass shows that they will be in the game. The DLC packs have also been named, including the Banzai and Clowning Around bags. The Most Wanted and the Whole Dam packs are also on the list of names.

 They will likely spread out across the DLC packs. Yokozuna will be the star of the Banzai Pack, and Rob Van Dam will star in the Whole Dam Pack.

To this point, the only DLC character that has confirmed for WWE 2K22 is the musician Machine Gun Kelly. 

It’s now clear that he won’t be the only celebrity in the game. It looks like Mr T will be a celebrity guest character for WWE 2K22, as shown in the promotional picture. This isn’t the first time these two have been on WWE programming. 

Machine Gun Kelly famously got power bombed off the stage on Raw by Kevin Owens, and Mr T and Hulk Hogan teamed up to fight Roddy Piper and Paul Orndorff in the main event of the very first WrestleMania!

WWE 2K22 DLC Characters Announced

Rumours have also said that Ronda Rousey could be in future WWE 2K22 DLC. She recently made her WWE return as a surprise entry in the 2022 Royal Rumble match. 

There was a fight, but Rousey won. She will fight Charlotte Flair for the title at WrestleMania 38. During the recent WWE SmackDown, the feud between Rousey and Flair has played out. 

The two set to headline WrestleMania 38 on Saturday.

Rousey hasn’t been added to the WWE 2K22 roster as a DLC yet, so fans should keep their hopes in check. It will be a while before these stars come into the game.
