 Does Rainbow Six Extraction come to Steam, or will it be only available on the Epic Games Store? Here’s all the necessary information.

Which is the Rainbow Six Extraction Steam release date?

When Rainbow Six Extraction comes to Steam, it will not be till January 2023. But, there’s a possibility that Ubisoft will not release it on Steam in any way.

Extraction’s forerunner that is a hit Rainbow Six Siege is available on Steam and is performing exceptionally well.

 Ubisoft has an exclusivity agreement with Epic Games Store that has resulted in a variety of games by the publisher, for example.

 The Division 2 and Ghost Recon Breakpoint that, like Rainbow Six, are also both Tom Clancy online games -are off Steam without any indication of the release on Valve’s platform.

In the case of Rainbow Six Extraction, it’s more complicated because the game’s co-op feature is accessible on PC through:

• Epic Games Store

• Ubisoft Connect/Uplay

• PC Game Pass

So, it’s a bit odd to me that Extraction isn’t available on Steam, too, given that it’s available through the Microsoft Game Pass and Microsoft tends to have a good connection with Steam. 

This month’s Halo Infinite, for example, is accessible on Game Pass and Steam, and the Steam version didn’t suffer the same issues either. 

Extraction may be coming to Steam; however, should it happen, then it’s not likely to be in the next 12 months.

It took a while, along with a name shift Rainbow Six Extraction, to get there, but it’ll launch in the coming days.

 Don’t be expecting to take on players from other games; However, it’s proven previously that, unlike Siege, the game is purely co-operative in PvE and doesn’t have a PvP mode.
