The narrative DLC for Dying Light 2 suppose to be out this summer, but according to a recent press release, developer Techland “now targets September”. The production team apologized for the delay and explained why it occurred in an attempt “to be as transparent and honest with you as possible”. According to a statement released by the studio.

Techland has revealed that Dying Light 2 Stay Human has been made gold and is in production, just two months ahead of the date of release.

Techland spread the announcement to Game Informer via a statement, declaring that the team reached the landmark during the weekend. 

Techland’s press announcement also contained some phrases from Tymon Smektala, the lead designer of Dying Light 2.

In the release, he speaks about the fact that work on the game isn’t completed.

He stated,

“The fact that the game is finished and having achieved gold status just two months before launch is a fantastic indication. But it doesn’t mean that our work is done. There are some more adjustments and updates to make. And feedback from the community to incorporate the base, however, is set and all set to go.”

The majority of the work can be seen in the rearview mirror. However, there are lots to fix and tweak before anyone can replicate the experience.
